This full moon is set to be a doozy, as it is 3minutes away from the planet of shock/surprise/rebellion/liberation and freedom fighting Uranus on the night of Halloween. It occurs in Sydney Australia at 12.49am on the 1/11/2020.
The last time we had a full moon Taurus conjunct Uranus in Taurus was back in Oct 2018. What was happening for you then? Do you see any similarity or corresponding themes? Noteworthy news around the world in Oct 2018, was the protests surrounding a referendum for Brexit (Protests=Uranus, Money/finances=Taurus). Pipe bombs sent to American Politicians Obama, Clinton, Biden etc were found and safely defused. Largest Jackpot in american history 1.6billion is won by one person from Southern Carolina (Money = Taurus, Shock/Surprise=Uranus), Earthquake/Tsunami (Earth element Taurus) killed 2256 people in Sulawesi, Gaza border protests, Helicopter/Airplane (Uranus) crashes, landslides/flash floods in Italy and Europe, Kenyan marathon runner Eliud Kipchoge is named UN Person of the Year after setting a new marathon world record and for his work with AIDS/HIV in Kenya (Humanitarian effort=Uranus). Way Back in Oct 1936 with the same Full Moon Taurus/Uranus – Hoover Dam began transmitting electricity to LA (Electricity = Uranus). So here we see over history some great breakthroughs, but we can also see some intense, sudden and quite unexpected surprises/shocks that occurred, which in retrospect some situations were good, ‘out of the blue’, but also some events that proved to be tragic, unsettling, upsetting and unnerving. Lets hope we see great humanitarian, scientific, financial and agriculture efforts during this moon phase, but you may want to keep the rescue remedy, chamomile tea and lavender at the ready just in case!
The Moon rules over our emotions, subconscious, the feminine, the public, tides, our childhood conditioning and habitual natures. Hospitals and Police have always stated an increase in activity surrounding emotional instability and crime at the time of full moons. Full moons in Taurus are usually quite stable, chilled and tactile, but the fact that this one occurs on the Scorpio/Taurus axis conjunct Uranus, suggests a time of feeling alienated, different/weird or of intensity and perhaps dramatic unrest.
Uranus symbolizes lightning quick change, shock and surprise. It heralds the naked truth from our unconscious depths to rise to the surface to be dealt with. When this occurs our need to break free from limitations and to rebel are strong. Uranus is moving through Taurus for the next 7yrs, so this suggests a period where we start to break free to discover what our truths/values are, work on our self-worth and ways to generate new forms of income, agriculture, sustainability and have more contentment in our lives.
With this Moon/Uranus in opposition to the Sun in Scorpio it indicates a need to break free from anything that feels controlling/exploiting or manipulating. Jobs, family members, institutions, anything and anyone that is limiting or controlling our self expression, may no longer be tolerated and lead to impulsive acts of rebelliousness and revolutions.
Venus ruler of this full Moon, is happy in the sign of Libra and is concerned with matters of the heart/love, relationships, balance and fairness. Its only aspect at this full moon, is an opposition to wounded healer Chiron. This suggests we may feel emotionally wounded or hurt by another, it may feel some relationships are just not serving us well anymore or you may no longer share similar values. But, with Uranus in the picture, perhaps you feel the need to have more freedom and independence within your relationships or we may receive some brilliant idea or unexpected gift/event that turns these relationships around and sets us on a healing journey within them. Here’s hoping hey! Don’t we all sometimes wish that someone would come along and kiss the scars from our past relationships and love us for who we are, warts and all. But alas, if there is baggage, then it is up to us to heal this ourselves and to accept and be loving enough to ourselves, providing good self-care, so that we are more whole and complete and able to attract someone without the needy agenda.
Mercury has also retrograded back into Libra, which again puts a focus on our relationships and communications. It seems as though it is time to have those important discussions in matters of the heart/love, balance and fairness once and for all. Solutions are needed more now than ever, so that you may move forward with life. So bite the bullet, state your case gently, be fair and move forward with the heart of balance and fairness. Mercury stations direct on the 3rd Nov. and Mars is still retrograde. This may see our poor minds and bodies erratically charged, given we are under the influence of the full moon still. You may feel quite restless, irritated, experience labored breathing, it may be hard to slow down or you may just feel jumpy and a bit nervy. Once again keep the rescue remedy, chamomile tea and lavender close by for some relief or schedule in a massage, cuddle up with soft blanket, read a book, enjoy a glass of your favorite drop and know these feelings should pass in a couple of days.
